Appletree and Avalon have built lasting relationships with Suppliers who have their own UK manufacturing facilities and we are proud to additionally champion small businesses that are creating and crafting at home!

We meticulously check the technical details, ingredients, clauses & manufacturing process before agreeing to supply a product

If there is an instance where part of the product has been imported (for example a component) and we haven’t been able to avoid that at this stage, we will be open & honest with our customers in the features and benefits description. This does not include ingredients i.e. Coconut oil where it has a specific Country of origin.

Yes, all of our products are 100% natural & where possible made from British grown ingredients. This will be shown in the product description and ingredients list. Most of our products are also organic or contain some organic ingredients. Everything we sell is free from toxins, parabens, SLS’s, SLES’s, harsh detergents, artificial preservatives & none have gone through animal testing so completely cruelty free. Most are vegan & all are plastic free.

We are proud to confirm that all of our soaps, shampoo’s & conditioners have no Palm Oil or derivatives in their ingredients. However, there are some cleaning products that unfortunately do. These will not carry our Palm Oil free stamp & any products containing palm oil will have RSPO sustainable Palm Oil in their ingredients & certification we have approved to prove to us this is the case. However, we actively avoid selling products that contain any palm oil where possible alternatives do exist in the supply chain. If you know of any you think we should be selling, please let us know.

Appletree and Avalon have ensured that any packaging used is environmentally friendly, fully recyclable or home compostable/biodegradable.  All delivery notes & labels are also printed on recycled paper & everything is taped with biodegradable paper parcel tape. Our inner packaging is completely plastic free too. We do not use single use plastic on anything.

We do not waste the packaging from our own deliveries either, so, from time to time, we will reuse these for our customers. We hope that you can understand that packaging wont always be brand new (it might be unbranded at times) but we do this with good intention to make zero waste.

Remember, you could even reuse the boxes from us yourself to send your own parcels in the future.

We continue to work with our Brands and Suppliers to ensure that they are reducing plastic & minimising waste when sending our orders on to us.

Appletree and Avalon have partnered with couriers who can offer low cost prices to our customers and at a standard we are happy with. You can select a standard 3-5 days delivery or next day delivery at checkout. UK orders are free over £50.

Orders will be dispatched same day unless on a Sunday when these will be dispatched the next working day (Monday morning)

Appletree and Avalon have researched the impact of single use plastic on the environment and are pleased to say that we do not stock any & we actively use none.

At this stage, in order to offer our customers 100% UK manufactured products, we do have some reusable plastic items for sale. Although these are plastic, they have a much lower impact on the environment than single use & can be recycled in household waste. If you are unsure, we suggest that you check with your local authorities before disposing of these in kitchen waste. There are other recycling facilities available in the UK & there is no reason why these shouldn’t be accepted.

Appletree and Avalon try hard to ensure that stock is available, however there are sometimes reasons that this isn’t always possible if a product has been particularly popular. If there is a product that has gone out of stock we will highlight its due date in the product page and if you’re willing to wait a little longer, please contact us and we will email you as soon as this is back in stock.

Absolutely, yes! We can make provision for this, but you will need to contact us first to put this in place for you. If you email us directly at someone will get back to you to confirm lead-times 

We hope that you are completely satisfied and happy with your purchase, however, we appreciate that sometimes there is a need to return or replace an item. If you are unhappy with your order or it has arrived damaged, please check out our refund policy

Delivery costs and timings

£3.95 for standard tracked delivery on UK Nationwide orders under £50

£7.95 for next day tracked delivery on UK Nationwide orders under £50 (order by 11.30am the day before)

FREE standard delivery on UK Nationwide orders over £50

FREE local same day delivery within a 4 mile radius will be automatically applied at checkout (ordered before 6pm)

All items are dispatched same day (unless ordered late on a Sunday) 

Typical delivery times are within 2-5 working days, Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 8pm.  (Some couriers may deliver slightly earlier or later)

Once your item has been dispatched, we’ll send you an email with tracking information (where applicable). Please check your junk email as sometimes these can get lost!

Couriers for delivery may vary.

Local delivery will be hand delivered. If you plan to be away from your property, please let us know in advance so that we can make alternative arrangements. Where safe places are available, the parcel will be photographed & emailed to you. This will be left at the customers own risk.
