Holt Hall Apiary British Made Local Heather Honey 227G (8OZ) Limited Edition

Heather honey produced by bees on the Peak District heather moors.

Heather Honey is without doubt one of the most prized honeys in the UK, it’s a dark thick honey that is rich & smoky. One of it’s more unusual characteristics is that it is almost jelly like before it is agitated, this means that it holds the air bubbles from when it was processed giving it a really unique look.

Heather honey is sometimes known as the British Manuka as it has many of the same if not better properties than the famed New Zealand Manuka just without the price tag!

This beautiful honey is made using the finest honey produced on our local chosen farm near Tamworth, Staffordshire & is extracted using old fashioned techniques.

These techniques ensure the honey is never heated or processed in a way which alters the flavour which means you can enjoy your honey the way our bees intended.

This honey is a proud member of the Bee Farmers Association

Description

This honey is produced from a mix of natural local flowers & is light & runny with a distinctive floral flavour. Please note that individual batches of honey differ as the bees forage on different flowers.

Honey can granulate, if this happens just sit the jar in warm water & it will return to a runny state.
